Overview

At Xpert Automatix, we are looking for a PCB Design and Development Engineer to join our team and contribute to cutting-edge electronic product development. You will be responsible for designing, testing, and optimizing printed circuit boards (PCBs) for various applications, ensuring high performance, reliability, and manufacturability.

Responsibilities

• PCB Design & Layout: Develop schematic designs, multilayer PCB layouts, and component placements using industry-standard tools.
• Simulation & Testing: Conduct signal integrity analysis, power distribution analysis, and thermal management.
• Prototyping & Validation: Collaborate with hardware teams to build and test prototypes, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Manufacturing Support: Work closely with fabrication and assembly teams to optimize PCB designs for manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.
• Component Selection: Research and select appropriate electronic components to meet performance and budget requirements.
• Documentation & Compliance: Maintain detailed design documentation and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Collaboration: Work alongside firmware, hardware, and product development teams to integrate PCB designs into final products.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 2+ years of experience in PCB design and development.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in PCB design tools like Altium Designer, Eagle, OrCAD, or KiCad.
• Knowledge of Standards: Familiarity with IPC standards, EMI/EMC design considerations, and high-speed PCB design techniques.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for hardware debugging.
• Communication: Ability to work in a team and communicate technical concepts effectively.
